I Won!
I feel so fortunate to have won the four "Words of Encouragement" art cards from Andrea T Designs. If anyone needs encouragement right now, it would be me. Unfortunately I lost my job that I have had for the past 7 years and feel completely lost. I've been having a lot of anxiety lately, so when I saw this particular card I was touched. Thanks to Andrea T Designs for giving me the opportunity to win such a wonderful gift!

Giveaway at Andrea T Designs
Andrea T Designs is giving away four angel cards. If you are the lucky winner you will receive four 4x4 prints from her "Words of Encouragement" series that have been fashioned into cards. Her art is absolutely delightful! If you can't wait to win and have to have one of her pieces now you can visit her Etsy art shop, Andrea T Designs, or her Etsy jewelry shop, Andrea's Paper Boutique. The deadline for entries is May 28, 2009 at midnight. A winner will be drawn at random and announced the following day.
I'm especially fond of this particular card because of the Bible verse that is written on it. For those of you who know me personally, you know that times have been extremely hard for me lately and that my anxiety level is through the roof. When I discovered this card, it brought a sense of peace over me. Hopefully I'll be able to buy it before someone else snatches it up. But who knows, they may need the encouragement more than I do. I'll just have it tattooed somewhere I can look at it 24/7. (NO, MOM! THAT WAS A JOKE. I CAN'T AFFORD A TATTOO RIGHT NOW!)

Zombie Green Bat Ring
Well Etsy is down right now, so I'm unable to list my most recent creation. I thought that I'd go ahead and share it here while I wait. This is another of my hand cast resin pieces. This zombie green star is embedded with the tiniest little bat bead! Zombies and bats seem to compliment each other, at least in my opinion. I plan on listing this for $5. Just keep checking my Etsy shop for it's official arrival!
Props to Ale!
Ale (short for Alejandra) is one talented gal! She is responsible for making all my LOST swap goodies. Here is a bag that she made for our Kawaii Swap. Jenna is the lucky recipient. I can't wait until Jenna returns from her 3 week trip to Europe to see what other awesome creations Ale came up with.

$15 Gift Certificate Giveaway Winner
The winner of my latest giveaway is none other than Maya of SWStitchery! Maya is a super talented artist who currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, my neighbor to the West. Ironically, I've been a fan of Maya's work, namely her Zombies and Batlings, for several months. I was super excited that she won this giveaway. Maya so graciously took a picture of her winnings (cell phone case was not included in the prize) and shared it with me. I suggest you check out SWStitchery. It's a personal favorite of mine! Thanks for the great picture, Maya!

2 Swaps Down, One To Go!
I've finally completed my LOST swap along with the Alice/Zombie Redo Swap! They're all packaged up and ready to ship! Now I'm in a Goody Bag Swap. It's just as it sounds. Purchase or make a bag of some sort and fill it with goodies! Michelle is my partner in this swap and she's shipping out hers already! My bag is almost full, although it is a very small bag. I make jewelry, so there are quite a few pieces filling my little purchased bag (I still can't sew well). I'm so excited to receive my swaps, but even more so to see how my partners will react to what I've made for them!

Not only is she an awesome person, but she's one of the most talented people I know! Thanks for the cards, Sug! You can send me the Japanese strawberry candy anytime you want to!

Zombie Stickers
I've been searching high and low for cool stickers to use as inclusions in my resin jewelry. While on my quest, I discovered these awesome zombie stickers by FiendishFriends. There are 6 different sets of stickers, 3 being large and 3 being small. $4 plus shipping for the stickers pictured. Unfortunately I am broke, but welcoming zombie sticker donations. (Seriously).

Soon To Be Resin Pendants
These hand casted resin pieces are patiently awaiting the arrival of their bails in (hopefully) Monday's post. My personal favorite is the assault rifle and dismantled shell necklace. I'm growing bored of the kawaii sticker flakes.
