What a Girl Loves ATC Swap

Here is an ATC that I recently created for the "What a Girl Loves ATC Swap" on swap-bot. The title of this ATC is "Some Girls May Love It-Just Not This One" (meaning me of course). Some women do actually love domestic-type chores, but kiddo is not one of those women. I'm so domestically challenged it's a crime! I really adore this ATC, and I hope my swap partner enjoys it as well!

My First Altered Journal

This is the first altered journal that I have ever made! It is going to a good pal of mine in a swap on swap-bot. I searched all over Hobby Lobby for a plain journal that I could decoupage, but had absolutely no luck. I found a black and white floral spiral bound journal, which I still intended on mod podging, but this little project took on a completely different life of it's own! I found some chipboard stickers which I used to spell out the word "LIFE" on the bottom of the front cover. I then felt the need to incorporate some charms into this project. What better way to do so, but to add them to the spirals! The hardest part was deciding which charms to add to the journal. Since I could not add all the charms, I included the unused charms in a plastic bag to include with the package so my partner may use them in whatever way she sees fit. The title of this journal is "My Charmed Life." Here are some pictures!

Giveaway from Infinitales

I first came across artist Alessandra Fusi about a week ago while browsing through Alice in Wonderland items on Etsy. Her shop, Infinitales is full of Alessandra's wonderful illustrations on jewelry, paper goods, art prints, pocket mirrors, you name it. Alessandra's depiction of Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorites! Here is a picture of her print, "Alice in Wonderland, Down the Rabbit Hole."

Infinitales is currently sponsoring a giveaway on January Wish. One lucky winner will receive two items from Alessandra's Etsy shop. Head on over to January Wish and enter for your chance to win!

Giveaway from Grimvisions

Grimvisions is currently hosting their first giveaway. What better way to prepare for Halloween than by winning this awesome prize?

"The item is one of my Skull Book Lights: What arcane tome is this? Perfect for a cluttered spell crafter’s desk or witches bookshelf, this ancient tome with a aged skull and battery operated flickering tea light candle is nice for anytime or your Halloween display. Each one is OOAK and may look slightly different than the picture shown here. Each one is crafted with great attention to detail."

To enter, visit Grimvisions' blog HERE. For more skully goodness, check out Grimvisions on Etsy.

Kawaii Alice ATC's

Here are two ATC's that I recently made depicting my favorite fairy tale, Alice in Wonderland. My favorite representations of Alice are the ones found on kawaii stationery. I used images from a kawaii memo pad and letter set. I also got to use my new "old school" Dymo label maker to embellish one of the ATC's. I hope you enjoy them!

Handmade Magnet Swap

I'm currently involved in a handmade magnet swap on swap-bot. In this swap, I am to make one magnet for one partner that has my partner's name on it somewhere. My partner's name is Amanda. I decided to use my new favorite medium, polymer clay, for this project. I didn't really have a planned design before I started this project. I really never plan out anything. I just have a general idea of what I am doing and go from there. I usually just make it up as I go along. Here is the final product!

I am super pleased about how it turned out! The lettering and polka dots remind me of icing on a birthday cake. It's packaged up and ready to take to the post office. I really hope that she likes it! I had a lot of fun making it.
